Shirley C. Lau has been with the firm since 1980. She is the office manager, a paralegal and the wife of the senior partner, Edward C.Y. Lau. She is also a licensed Real Estate Broker and a licensed Notary Public.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
She is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America's (ATLA) Paralegal Practice Section and is the former president of the ATLA Auxiliary. She was also the former president of the Chinese American Women's Business League, the former president of the Chinese Women's League, and the former Vice-President of the Global Federation of Chinese Business Women.

EDUCATION
Shirley C. Lau was born in Hsin-Dzu City, Taiwan, R.O.C. She received her B.S. from the Taiwan Provincial Chung-Hsin University and holds a Masters degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

PERSONAL
Shirley C. Lau is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese. She enjoys reading, gardening and growing orchids, community service and activities, and spending time with her four grandchildren.
